Declared World Heritage by UNESCO in 1997, Sant Pau is an international centre for knowledge and innovation, home to cutting-edge institutions in the fields of sustainability, health and education.
Gala dinner: Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya, Barcelona, Spain.
The Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya is located in the Palau Nacional of Montjuïc, which was constructed for the International Exhibition of 1929, and includes a collection of Romanesque mural paintings, considered the best such collection in the world.
Day 2: Castellet Castle, Castellet i la Gornal, Spain.
Originating from the 10th century, is located in Alt Penedès, to the south of Barcelona. The restored castle is the headquarters of the Abertis Foundation and a UNESCO centre for the Mediterranean Biosphere Reserves.
